All About Mercy-Fest
MercyFest is an annual community celebration hosted by Our Lady of Mercy Parish
in Aurora. MercyFest is made possible with the generous support of business
sponsors and through the hard work of many, many volunteers.
Entering its 9th year, the Fest is attended by thousands of patrons who are made
aware of our sponsors during the course of the 4 day weekend. Activities include
the 5K Run/Walk, popular entertainment, carnival rides and games, children’s
activities, silent auction, business expo, beer garden, great food, fun and
much, much more!
Funds raised through the weekend of events, including those from the MercyFest
Cash Raffle, help maintain our Parish Life Center and various programs that
support the community at large. Some of these programs include an Elizabeth
Ministry for mothers in need, a St. Vincent de Paul program which supplies food
stuffs and clothing to those in need, and Bridge Communities, which helps
homeless families get the necessary support for a fresh start.
MercyFest has grown to be one of the largest festivals held in Aurora, drawing
thousands of patrons and, as always, with the help of sponsors, is free to the
public.
