Silent Auction
The Silent Auction Committee Members are now actively looking for products or services to be donated to our upcoming Silent Auction on Friday, October 7th, in the Parish Life Center during MercyFest. Each year our event grows in size due to the generous contributions from our local businesses and parishioners.
Last year, we offered a wide range of products and services beginning with a minimum bid of $15 and up.
Here is a highlight of
some of the categories offered in 2010:
Birthday Party Events
Chicago Sport Team Tickets and Souvenirs
Family Entertainment Opportunities
Garden Products and Landscape Gift Certificate
Health and Beauty Services and Products
Household Products and Handcrafted Items
Movie and Museum Passes
Overnight Hotel Stays and Brunch
Restaurant Gift Certificates
Wine
If you are interested in donating a product or service or
can provide a contact of an interested company or individual,
please contact Amy Murphy at 630-851-4779.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with the auction on October 7th
All donated items are tax deductible, the donor’s name will be
prominently displayed by the item, all contributors will be posted
on www.mercy-fest.com and after the event, a letter with the tax ID
number will be mailed.
The Silent Auction Committee is requesting all donations to be
turned into Our Lady of Mercy Office by August 31st along with a
donation form. Donation forms can be found at www.mercy-fest.com or
picked up in the OLM Parish Office during office hours.
We thank you for your consideration and look forward to seeing you
at our Silent Auction this fall! Check the Church Bulletin for
updates.
Funds raised will help maintain our Parish Life Center and various
programs that support the community at large.
